50 of 50 – The end
Inspired by Daniel Schneider.
The end – I hope not. Actually this is the point I have to decide to go further and do a 365 or not. The first days where really funny and I put a lot of time in the project every day, but then the pressure of work came and it was really hard to find just 10 minutes time or some free space in my mind for new ideas. I dont want to cry, we all have to carry our burden, even we write a book 🙂
But I do not see enough time, to produce further 316 images with a really good quality and that is not the intention I was doing this project. Now I am happy with the project and the result. I really learned a lot, new technieques, working proper with light, adjusting white balance with gels and working with people.
So for me this project is a full success and I really appreciate your support and want to say thank you all: Ivo, Daniel, Lisa, Katrin, Lindel, Daniela, Melli, Catch-light, FragHorst, schneiderd, ©art&men, seeit_snapit, New Yorkled, woktografie, .avina., wushi., rogvon, shenagain, Chaos2k, LokoTripper, Photographordie, Dennis_F, Aaron DuRall, erkua, LSG, photo.koss, Dusty V, generalstussner and all the other people who supported me 🙂
I guess I will do a small book with the 50 to 50 images and the setup, but more for me and my family. If anyone will be interested in buying a copy, tell me.
PS: Yeah I did 50 pictures in a row and none has been explored 🙂

49 of 50 – Final spurt
I came home really late on saturday. After we came back from our Greetsiel trip and visiting some family members on the way, I visited my grandmap in Dortmund. So it was really late when I was back in Düsseldorf, shooting the final spurt 🙂

48 of 50 – Silence
Today is our last evening in Greetsiel and we will drive home tomorrow. It was nice and relaxing week together with my parents and it brought back a lot of energy. The best part was the silence around me and the fresh air.

47 of 50 – Discover
Man cannot discover new oceans unless he has the courage to lose sight of the shore.

Today we visited Norddeich again. Yesterday I saw a very special spot to do a levitation shot. It is a long wave breaker made out of stones and at the end we stopped. It was very difficult to get there, because there were a lot of ice shells around and slippery to walk and carry the equipment. But my dad, Ilonka and I did it and I hope you will like this shot. I could get the birds yesterday on the way to the lighthouse in Pilsum.

46 of 50 – Family Klein
What a great day. At first we had a nice breakfast and after that we went for a walk in the city called Norden at the coast. Ilonka had a lot of fun there.
We drove back to Greetsiel and my father and I went to a haircutter. When we were dressed up we all had lunch and the weather got much better.
So I decided to make a new family portrait with Ilonka. Time was short and I wanted to use the Big Mama at first, but it was too windy. I setup all the strobes and suddenly the sun disappeared behind clouds and I had too much power which I decreased with the camera.
When the weather is fine, I will try another levitation shot my mom tomorrow.

45 of 50 – Sit!
This shot is inspired by Boy Wonder. I really love his own and creative style doing pictures. Thanks for your inspiration.
Today I got a bad message. My beloved french bulldog Cocktail died yesterday in a tragic accident. I don’t know what to say or feel but I hope you will find a lot of green grass and a lot of friends behind the rainbow bridge 🙁 Even I did not receive a good messaged If Tiffy, Ivo´s cat, returned yet.

44 of 50 – Feel the energy
Actually I wanted to do a levitation shot with my dad. But it is raining the whole day and since I wanted to do something with light painting anyway in this project, I tried some product shot.
